Situated on rich pasture land sloping slightly downhill towards Lough Foyle to S. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.'   Description

  It appears that the remains 'Of a possible fort surviving as a mound 69ft N-S and 71ft E-W without an enclosing bank' (M. R. Colhoun) have been removed by road widening. It was situated on fairly level ground overlooking a marshy area extending to the shore. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal.   Description

  Detached four-bay single-storey vernacular house, built c. 1870. Pitched thatch roof with smooth rendered chimneystacks to gables with rendered coping. Roughcast rendered and whitewashed walls. Square-headed window openings with two-over-two horned timber sash windows and painted sills. Square-headed door opening with matchboard timber door. Single-storey outbuildings with pitched corrugated-metal roofs to both gables: lean-to outbuildings with tarred felt roofs and rubble stone walls incorporating rocky outcrops into the walls sited to south-west and remnants of rubble stone walled outbuilding with pitched thatch roof to front.

  Description

  Four-bay single-storey house with half dormer attic, built c. 1880. Pitched slate roof with grey clayware ridge tiles, terracotta ridge tiles to dormer roofs, gable copings, yellow brick chimneystacks, with terracotta pots, cast-iron rainwater goods. Painted roughcast rendering over red brick and random rubble stone walls. Square-headed window openings with smooth rendered reveals, one-over-one timber horned sash windows, painted stone sills. Square-headed door opening with smooth rendered reveal, overlight and timber battened door. Set within own grounds, with outbuildings to both gables, with pitched slate roofs and roughcast rendered walls; boundary wall to east, with square gate piers mounted with wrought-iron gates.
