  There is no trace of the church or graveyard (DG098-008001-) marked on the 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch maps. The site is located in undulating drumlin country in fairly good pasture. The sea shore is a short distance to the S. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.' Architectural heritage

• Kiln, 1840–1880 · Regional interest
  Description

  Freestanding single-bay lime kiln on circular-plan, erected c. 1860. Now out of use. Constructed of roughly coursed rubble stone masonry. Square-headed opening to front (west), the former oven aperture, having stone lintel over. Built into side of gently-sloping hill with roof/top level with land to the east formerly providing access to the loading bay to the summit. Set back from road in rural location to the east of Dunkineely.
