The proposed route no. 27 of the Cycle South Dublin is the Castletymon Road Cycle Scheme. It will provide cycle connectivity from Greenhills's Road to Tallaght Main Street and has a length of 1.8m. Under this scheme South Dublin County Council proposed to construct 250m length of cycleway as a first stage of this network. This provides a better active travel link to Castletymon shopping centre, local amenities, NBA arena, schools, and parks within the length of the road. Description
Situated in a built up area located in a low-lying area S of stream. A moated site shown on the OS 6 inch map as a roughly rectangular enclosure (Dims. L c. 70m, Wth c. 50m) fed from the stream.
