Description

Description
In undulating pasture. Circular area (c. 45m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.1m; ext. H 2.2m), much eroded N->S where field clearance debris has been dumped up against it. Description
In pasture. Roughly circular area (40m E-W) truncated on NW side by SW-NE field boundary, otherwise defined by scarped edge (H 0.9m; Wth 3.3m) with external fosse (D 0.3m; Wth 1.1m) and counterscarp bank (int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.45m). Interior, under pasture, slopes up gently towards centre. Gap (Wth 3m) in counterscarp bank at E; outside this two low parallel earthen banks, 3m apart, run for c. 25m.
