  Two pits cut into subsoil and an associated metalled surface were uncovered here during archaeological monitoring of drainage works (Excavation Licence No. 00E0629). No finds were recovered from these features but a barbed and tanged arrowhead and a sherd of blackware pottery were found on the surface beside the pits.   Detached three-bay two-storey presbytery, built c. 1880. Canted bay windows to south, full-height bow to north-east, three-bay two-storey block to west. Hipped slate roofs, clay ridge tiles, yellow brick shouldered corbelled chimneystacks with decorative mouldings, moulded cast-iron gutters on yellow brick modillions to overhanging eaves, circular cast-iron downpipes. Yellow brick walling laid in Flemish bond, moulded yellow brick plinth, moulded yellow brick quoins, strings and banding, decorative mouldings to south elevation, smooth rendered walling to north elevation west block, ashlar limestone walling to canted bays surmounted by frieze and cornice. Segmental-headed window openings, roll-moulded surrounds, tooled stone sills on moulded yellow brick corbels, painted timber one-over-two sliding sash windows, two-over-two sliding sash windows to bow and west block, square-headed window openings to north, chamfered reveals, one-over-one sliding sash windows, nail-head hood-mouldings to west block windows. Round-headed door opening, shouldered nail-head decoration to surround, roll-moulded surround comprising engaged colonettes to reveals with tooled limestone capitals and bases, chamfered reveals and archivolt, round-headed door opening set in recess, plain-glazed fanlight, multiple-pane sidelights, painted timber door with multiple panels, polychromatic tiling to floor, tooled limestone step. Door in west block set in slight projecting open-bed pedimented surround, nail-head decoration, billet hood moulding to round-headed opening, stepped reveals and archivolt, plain-glazed fanlight, painted timber door with nine raised-and-fielded panels, single mirrored panel. Outbuildings to west, hipped slate roofs, clay ridge tiles, squared coursed limestone walling, red brick to north-west building, square-headed openings. House situated on a height to south of town, accessed by avenue from Dublin road, tooled limestone steps to east, red brick walling terracotta coping.

Painted roughcast-rendered walling, smooth rendered plinth. Red brick walling laid in Flemish bond, smooth rendered plinth course, continuous red brick sill course and recessed band to lintel level. Segmental-headed window openings, roll-moulded red brick soffits, uPVC windows. Segmental-headed door opening surmounted by gabled canopy, painted timber bargeboards and finial, supported on cast-iron brackets, roll-moulded red brick soffit, plain-glazed overlight, painted timber panelled door; red brick plinth walls flanking entrance. Gardens to west, accessed by gates, separated from houses by concrete path, walled rear yards to east, bounded by varied walling, laneway giving access to yards. Steps to north-west giving pedestrian access to terrace.

  Detached single-storey six-bay stone engine shed, built c. 1860. Rectangular-plan, lower single-storey pitched roof wings to east side. Pitched corrugated asbestos sheet roof, asbestos ridge, circular steel ventilation cowls, pre-cast concrete verge copings, half-round uPVC gutters, uPVC downpipes; pitched slate roofs to single-storey wings, clay ridge tiles. Uncoursed roughly-squared rubble stone walling to east, south and west elevations, painted roughcast-render to north elevation. Segmental-headed window openings to east and west elevations, built-up to east elevation, ashlar limestone voussoirs, rubble stone reveals, concrete sills, aluminium casement windows; roundel in gable south elevation infilled, blue-black brick double course surround; round-headed openings to south elevation, stepped reveals, blue-black brick dressings, granite imposts, wrought-iron door hinge studs, recent roller shutter doors. Interior with concrete floor, painted plaster walls, steel truss roof structure c. 1960. Located to north-west of station complex, main lines to west, sidings to east, viaduct to north.

  Freestanding three-bay two-storey water tower, dated 1873, on a rectangular plan. Red brick Flemish bond walls with red brick header bond cornice on frieze below parapet supporting embossed water tank ("1873") on "I" girders on cut-limestone cushion course. Square-headed window openings in round-headed recesses with cut-limestone sills, and red brick voussoirs framing two-over-two timber sash windows. Set in grounds shared with Drogheda Railway Station.

Pitched slate roof, plain clay ridge tiles, brown brick chimneystacks with stone corbelled caps, stone gable verges, moulded cast-iron gutters on stone eaves corbel course to main building, half-round uPVC gutters on painted timber fascia on painted timber brackets to east extension; corrugated-iron lean-to roof to north platform, cast-iron gutters. Brown brick Flemish bond walling, ashlar stone plinths to main building, square ashlar stone columns, frieze, cornice at blocking course to portico, ashlar stone architrave, frieze and cornice string at springing of window arches, brick pilaster panels. Round-headed window openings, stepped brick reveals, brick arches, dressed stone sills, painted timber four-over-four margined sliding sash windows, painted timber margined overlights over stone transoms. Round-headed door openings, recessed reveals, brick arches, painted timber double doors each with moulded bottom panel and glazed top panel, painted timber matching overlights, painted timber margined overlight above transoms, stone thresholds. North and south platform canopies with circular cast-iron columns, cast-iron capitals carrying quadrant brackets with decorative spandrels carrying wrought-iron lattice beams and wrought-iron lean-to roof trusses, cast-iron balustrade with pointed arch openings to south platform between columns. Painted timber waiting room to north platform, central opening flanked by three glazed panels each with two quadrant-headed six-panel lights over diagonal sheeting, moulded dentilled cornice, blocking course. Concrete and granite steps on brick plinths to north and south sides of track rising to wrought-iron footbridge with concrete deck, wrought-iron infill panels to balustrade, wrought-iron angle stanchions carrying profiled metal roof. Located to south-west of Drogheda town, various station buildings to east and west.

Hipped slate roof set behind parapets to main elevations, clay ridge and hip tiles, yellow brick corbelled chimneystacks with blue brick banding and octagonal clay pots, half-round galvanised steel gutters to west elevation lean-to and south elevation return; concrete tiled roof to garden room, uPVC rainwater goods. Unpainted ruled-and-lined walling, moulded cornice and coping to roof parapet, painted straight channelled quoins. Square-headed window openings, painted moulded render architraves, painted stone sills, uPVC casement windows. Square-headed entrance door opening, moulded render surround, painted timber panelled door.
