  Detached five-bay two-storey courthouse, built c.1880, with two single-storey returns to rear. Garda station to north bay and County Council offices to south bay. Hipped tiled roof with terracotta ridge tiles and yellow brick and rendered chimneystacks. Squared stone walls built to courses with ashlar pilasters. Ashlar plinth and string course to central three bays. uPVC windows with rendered surround to ground floor and tooled stone surround to first floor. Entrances to central bay and both terminating bays. Timber and glazed doors. Timber panelled door to station. All with overlights and stone lintels. Building located at the T-junction overlooking Main Street.

  Terrace of six two-bay two-storey houses with full-height canted bays, built c.1900. Pitched slate roof with terracotta ridge tiles, rendered chimneystacks with terracotta pots. Rendered walls with string course to first floor windows. One house retains timber sash windows with stone sills. Round-headed entrance with stucco surrounds containing timber panelled door with overlight. Stone and rendered outbuildings to rear. House set back slightly from road on elevated site, bounded by cast-iron railings on rendered plinth with cast-iron gate. Not all houses in the terrace retain their original fabric.

Detached U-plan seven-bay three-storey school, built 1916, with extension built 1941 connecting school to former barracks. Three-bay breakfront with advanced pedimented entrance bay. Segmental- and square-headed windows with stucco surround and cornice to some, containing timber sash windows with stone sills. Tripartite windows with segmental pediment and ashlar surround to projecting block. Round-headed door opening with ashlar surround and keystone with timber panelled double doors approached by steps. Cast-iron water pump set in limestone slabs, c.1880, to north-west. Site bounded by random coursed wall with cast-iron railings to front elevation. Rendered piers with cast-iron gates. Three-bay single-storey gate lodge with hipped tiled roof and rendered walls, now vacant. Square-profiled cut stone gate piers to site of former Church of Ireland dating to 1798 to north of rear site to gate lodge.
