  Description

  On a gentle SW-facing slope. Circular grass and scrub-covered area (diam. 22m NE-SW; 21m NW-SE) defined by slight traces of an earthen bank (Wth 4-4.2m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.4-0.8m) separated by a fosse (Wth of top 8.2-8.4m; Wth of base 2-3.9m; D 0.5-1.6m) from an outer bank (Wth 4.5-6.9m; ext. H 1.1-1.8m), with traces of an outer fosse (Wth of base 2.6m; ext.   Description

  On the crest of a low E-W drumlin ridge. Circular scrub-covered area (diam. 30m N-S; 27.5m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 3.8-5.7m; int. H 0.2-0.5m; ext. H 0.4-0.9m) which is much reduced at N (Wth 1.8m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.6m), and a shallow outer fosse (Wth of top 3.2-6.3m; Wth of base 1.6-2.6m; D 0.2m) NNE-S-NNW.   Description

  On a gentle N-facing slope. Circular rush and scrub-covered area (diam. 30m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (at N: Wth 2.1m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.9m) N-E-S, and by a scarp (at S: H 0.5m) which is frequently obscured by field spoil elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance, and the monument is bisected by a N-S field bank. Rath (RO023-160----) is c. 210m to the ESE.   Description

  Marked as a U-shaped building called Bunnamucka Castle on the SE side of a NE-SW laneway on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Situated on the crest of a low ridge.   Description

  On a gentle E-facing slope. Circular grass and rush-covered area (diam. 37.5m E-W; 34.7m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 3-4m; int. H 0.1-0.4m; ext. H 0.9-1.1m), and a fosse (Wth of top 3.5-4.1m; Wth of base 2.2-2.9m; D 0.3-0.4m) NNE-E-SW. There are modernised entrances at NW (Wth 4m) and SE (Wth 4m), and the fosse is curtailed by an NE-SW road bank at N and skirted by an E-W field bank at S.
