Situated on a low rise, in pasture, with good views to NW, N and S. Depicted as an earthwork on Larkin’s 1808 Map of County Westmeath (NLI, MS 46,580). Not depicted on the 1837 ed. Description
Wall-mounted cast-iron post box, erected between 1901-10, with raised "ER VII" royal cipher and crown motif. Makers name appears at base in raised lettering ' T. Allen & Co. London '. Set into rubble limestone wall to the south of Ballymore.

Description
In pasture, on summit of a low hill in undulating pasture, townland boundary with Raheen immediately to SW. Low roughly circular-shaped flat-topped earthen mound (H. c. 0.5m; diam. c. 3m) in W corner of field, the hedgerow of this field marks the townland boundary with Raheen from S-W-N.
