Description
Oval-shaped earthwork or platform (approx. diam. 27m) depicted as an antiquity on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map and shown on subsequent editions of the OS maps as an oval-shaped platform. Description
Described in an earlier site visit as following: 'Completely obliterated. Probably a rath. Apart from the siting on a steep round-topped natural hillock, there is no indication on the ground as to what it was. Withered weeds grow on the site. Situated on gently undulating land of average pasture. Good views from the site' (SMR File).
