  Description

  Sited on a slight rise, overlooked by hill land, in pasture. Ringfort (WM020-136----) lies c. 120m to WSW. Not depicted on OS historic mapping. Monument described in 1970 as a circular-shaped area enclosed by a low sod-covered bank of earth and stone. It appears to have been constructed by placing large stones as facings and filling the core with smaller stones. Several slight disturbance gaps are visible in the bank. The original entrance is not recognisable. Partial cropmark of levelled monument is barely visible today on Digital Globe aerial photography.   Description

  Situated just E of the summit of Sion Hill and immediately N of townland boundary, in pasture, with extensive views in all directions. Depicted on the revised 1913 ed. OS 25-inch map as a suboval-shaped earthwork. Possible burial mound (WM020-045----) lies c. 62m to WNW. Partially levelled monument described in 1970 as a much disturbed, raised roughly circular-shaped area (dims. 13.7m ENE-WSW; 10m NNW-SSE) defined by a steep scarp (H 1.8m). There is no visible trace of a fosse or an outer bank. The original entrance is not visible. An elongated quarry hole extends from the centre of the interior to the perimeter at SE. Monument is not visible today on Digital Globe aerial photography. Hilltop location and small diameter of earthwork described in 1970 suggests that this may may been a prehistoric burial monument.   Description

  Situated in gently undulating pasture. Depicted on the revised 1913 ed. OS 25-inch map as an oval-shaped earthwork (dims. 36m NW-SE; 31m NE-SW). Levelled monument described by the ASI in 2005 as not visited. Outline of levelled monument is visible today on Digital Globe aerial photography as a partial cropmark from W-N-E-S which is transected by a linear field boundary running NW-SE across the SW sector.   Description

  Situated atop natural hillock on reclaimed grassland, 100m SE of the River Deel. Ringfort (WM020-136----) 40 to N. Outline of circular shaped area (approx. diam. 31m N-S x 38m E-W) defined by an earthen bank with possible traces of an outer enclosure to S and E forming a bailey type area defined by a low scarp or bank which may be a topographical feature, is visible today on Digital Globe aerial photography.
