Description
The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007 Aerial photographs (GSI S 22) show cropmark of circular feature (est max. diam. c. 30m). Now covered by extention of graveyard. No visible surface traces.

Description
Excavated in advance of construction of a residential development (Excavation Licence number 05E1359). A pit (diam. 0.35m) containing human burnt bone and charcoal was uncovered. The bone produced a radiocarbon date of 1888-1746 BC cal. A series of other pits were excavated in the vicinity. (McCarthy G. 2008, 6, 32) Reference: McCarthy G.
