Description
Raised circular area (int. diam. 31.9m) enclosed by a substantial earthen bank and a shallow fosse. From NNE-S-SW an apparently later deposit of earth has been piled up against the outer face of the bank, and the fosse considerably narrowed at this point. Original entrance not recognisable. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
