  Description

  Raised circular area (int. diam. 26m) enclosed by an earthen bank which has been substantially modified and incorporated into the field boundary. This is particularly the case from NW-N-ESE where its original curve has been altered and is now linear in plan. Original entrance not recognisable. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
