  Description

  Raised circular area (int. diam. 34m) enclosed by two very substantial earthen banks with deep and partly waterlogged outer fosses. Original entrance represented by corresponding breaks in banks with accompanying causeways at SE. An earlier report (OPW 1980) recorded a tradition of a 'tunnel off the fort' which is probably a reference to a souterrain (CV030-015002-).   Local tradition refers to a tunnel running off Dingins rath (CV030-015001-), which suggests a souterrain site.   Description

  Double-arch limestone road bridge, built c.1850, over River Erne. Random squared rubble piers and spandrels with narrow course beneath parapet. Coursed squared rubble abutments. Rounded cap to U-cutwaters over projecting chamfered stone course to central abutments and piers. Cut stone voussoirs to segmental arches and rubble stone barrel. Squared rubble stone parapet with hammer dressed coping of large dressed stone blocks.
