Description
Raised circular area (int. diam. 23m) enclosed by a narrow, low earthen bank modified and incorporated into the field boundary, and a shallow fosse. A low stony platform, roughly rectangular in plan, which extends from the inside of the bank at E to the centre of the interior, may represent a house site. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
