  Description

  Raised circular area (int. diam. c. 30m) enclosed by a substantial earthen bank the outer face of which has been modified and incorporated into the field boundary. There is a modern field drain at its foot. Original entrance was probably at NNW. Possible souterrain within internal area (CV018-010002-).   Description

  Situated near the inner face of the bank of Lisnaclea rath at N (CV018-010001-). A small Y-shaped depression, comprising short vertical leg (L 2m; Wth 1.9m; D 0.3m), a branch aligned NW-SE (L 3.4m; Wth 1.8m; D 0.35m) and a longer branch running NE-SW (L 5m; Wth 1.65m; D 1.1m), may represent the site of a souterrain.   Description

  Raised oval area (int. dims. 31.5m E-W; 27.4m N-S) enclosed by a low earthen bank and a fosse, traces of which are identifiable only from ESE-S-WSW. Break in bank with accompanying causeway at ESE probably represents original entrance.   Description

  Raised circular area (int. diam. c. 30m) enclosed by a substantial earthen bank scarped externally from SE-S-W, and a wide, deep, partly waterlogged fosse recently recut from NNW-N-NE to accommodate a field drain and removed from SE-S-W. Break in bank with faint remains of accompanying causeway at E probably represents original entrance. Internal area densely overgrown with vegetation.   Description

  Detached two-bay two-storey house, built c.1910, with recent single-storey side entrance porch and recent single-storey return to rear. Hipped slate roof with clay ridge tiles, rendered chimneystacks on gables, and cast-iron rainwater goods. Hipped artificial slate roof to porch in diagonal pattern brought forward over doorway and supported on a metal column. Flat roof to return. Roughcast rendered walls with smooth rendered walls to gables. Window openings with stone sills and plain reveals having two-over-two timber sash windows with exposed sash boxes. Set behind low boundary wall having decorative double-leaf iron gates and square-profile piers to the east. Corrugated iron building to east of gates with a wide iron-barred window with fascia above to front gable, formerly in use as retail outlet.

• Knappagh Bridge, bridge, 1730–1770 · Regional interest
  Description

  Triple-arch stone road bridge with slight hump, built c.1750, spanning River Knappagh. Rubble stone parapets with Scotch copings. Random rubble stone spandrels with roughly dressed uneven voussoirs to round arches, west end arch smaller than other two. Rubble stone arch soffit resting on rubble abutments. Wing walls extend parallel to approach roads with battered buttresses at either end.
