  Description

  Large raised circular area (int. diam. c. 66m) enclosed by a low earthen bank, modified and incorporated into the field boundary, and a wide, shallow fosse. Modern farm buildings have encroached on the site at NNE and ENE. Part of the bank and fosse has been removed at W. Original entrance not recognisable. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
