  Description

  On a gentle SW-facing slope in an area of tillage. A subcircular area (max. ext. diam. c. 50m) defined by a low bank E-S-W is visible on Digital Globe (2012-2013). Differential growth in a pattern of concentric circles visible on Google Earth (imagery date 31 March 2022) also highlights the possible existence of subsurface remains.   Description

  On the S side of a bend in a stream. Listed as ‘Enclosure, possible’ in the SMR (1992) and in the RMP (1996). Indicated as a hachured semicircular area on the 1919 edition of the OS 6-inch map and hachured and named ‘Gravel pit (disused)’ on the OS 25-inch map.   Description

  Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996) on the basis of a small irregular hachured area indicated on the 1916 OS 6-inch map. A limekiln and a quarried out area are indicated on the OS 25-inch map. On inspection in 1999 a low oval depression was found which had been exploited for building material and was known locally as a quarry.
