Description
On a slight rise on a NW-facing slope. A circular grass-covered area (int. diam. 45m E-W; 42m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 9-10m; int. H 1.2-1.7m; ext. H 1.7-1.8m generally to 2.65m at N) and an outer flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of base 4.6-5m; ext. D 0.1-0.2m). There is no visible entrance, but the bank is damaged and the fosse obscured by this spoil at ENE (L c. 14m). Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 15 April 2020

On a rise in a low-lying landscape. Listed as 'enclosure' in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). A circular grass-covered area (int. diam. 25m N-S; 24m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4-7m; int. H 0.3-0.5m; ext. H 0.4-0.6m) with traces of an outer fosse (Wth of base 2.5m) at SE. There is no visible entrance, but there is a mound (diam. 5m; H 0.7m) E of centre. A circular grass-covered area (int. diam. 26m E-W; 25m N-S) defined by a scrub-covered earthen bank (Wth 3-4m; int. H 0.35-1m) which is incorporated into a field bank (Wth 6.5m; int. H 1.4m; ext.
