Description
On a W-facing slope in extensively cleared pastureland. Indicated on the 1842 and 1915 eds. of the OS 6-inch maps. A now extensively cleared area (c. 600m E–W; 500m N–S) of small fields with some smaller rectilinear enclosures and buildings in the SW sector. Description
On a W-facing slope in extensively cleared pastureland near the northern extent of a field system (CL006-038001-). T. Coffey (SMR file) noted the former presence of a fulacht fia at this location and also noted that it had been destroyed during road building. No visible remains were noted on inspection in 1997.
