  Description

  Taken from Aghadoe Castle (CO066-03801-) during its demolition and now in possession of owners of Aghadoe House (CO066-03803-). Rectangular limestoneslab (0.7m x 0.5m) with figure (H 0.4m; Wth 0.3m) picked out in raised relief (0.1m) on one side. Female figure displays a large head, triangularin shape with eyes, nose, mouth and ears clearly defined. Torso shows form of rib-cage surmounted with small pendular breasts; legs are splayed, exhibiting genital area. Right foot and part of left foot broken off. Left hand raised, holding something broken aloft; right arm hangs by side of figure; fingers visible on hand. No. 7 in Cherry (1992, 4) catalogue.   Description

  In Killeagh. Indicated as flour mill on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Rectangular structure (24m NW-SE; 7m NE-SW), 6-bay, 5-storey with attic windows, slim chimneys on gable ends, one to N false. Stone additions at either end making ground plan Z-shaped. Modern additions around NW end built over wheel-pit. Glenbower lake (drained in late 1980s) to NW used as mill pond; part of mill race now used as public walk. According to local information, mill used to grind maize in 19th century; used as corn store up until 1971.   Description

  Detached multiple-bay five-storey mill, built c. 1790, having corrugated-iron extension to front (north) elevation and seven-bay three-storey extension to rear (south) elevation. Now in disuse. No roof. Brick chimneystack to west gable, cast-iron weather vane to east gable. Render over rubble limestone walls. Square-headed window openings with brick voussoirs, now blocked up. Square-headed openings having brick voussoirs, some with timber battened doors.

  Description

  Single-arch rubble stone bridge, built c. 1840. Carrying road over road and tributary of Dissour River. Canted piers with crenellated pedestrian refuges to parapets. Metal parapet railings comprising trefoil-headed arcade with cast metal plaque. Pointed arch with roughly dressed voussoirs.
