In pasture, on NW-facing slope. Circular area (28m NE-SW; 28m E-W) defined by earthen bank (H 1.6m) ESE->SSW, incorporated into field fence system; scarp (max. H 1.25m) SSW->ESE. Description
Roadside mill complex, 2km NW of Clonakilty on Fealge river. Indicated on OS 6-inch map (1842) as 'Aghamilla Mills' with 'Corn Mill' and 'Tuck Mill' located. One mill (L 7m; Wth 7m) survives, infilled wheel-pit along S elevation. According to owner, it was a corn mill.
