  In tillage, near top of ridge, looking N. Roughly circular area (65.8m N-S; 68.2m E-W) enclosed by inner bank (int. H 0.8m; ext. H 2.8m); outer bank (int. H 1.7m; ext. H 0.9m); intervening fosse. Causewayed entrance to NE. Field clearance stones dumped in fosse to W; cattle bones to S. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.   In pasture, on a N-facing slope. According to local information, a barely discernible mound of heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil was noted here when the field was ploughed. There were no visible remains of this mound in 2005 when the field was under pasture. A spring well which was to the NW of the mound has been drained.   In pasture. Circular area (46.5m E-W; 45.9m N-S) enclosed by inner earthen bank (int. H 1m); intervening fosse; outer earthen bank best preserved to W (H 1.2m). Gaps in inner bank to N (Wth 1m), ENE (Wth 4m) and NW (Wth 1.5m). Fosse substantial to W and N, used as pathway to E and S. Outer bank modified and incorporated into field fence system to E and S.   Description

  In marshy rush-covered ground, on the W side of a stream which forms the townland boundary between Arlinstown and Fahanalooscane. According to local information, a mound of burnt material, which was found here during land drainage works, was levelled and the burnt material spread over the surrounding ground.
