Description
In pasture, atop rise. Circular, slightly raised area (35.5m N-S; 35m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.35m; ext. H 1.05m); external fosse visible as differential vegetation. Break in bank to N (Wth 2.45m) and NW (Wth 1.2m). Interior saucer-shaped; possible souterrain (CO031-02002-) off-centre to E. Field boundary skirts enclosure to E. Description
Detached three-bay single-storey vernacular house, built c. 1800, extended to west end and to rear. Thatched roof, pitched to west and hipped to east, with pitched artificial slate roofs to extensions, that to west recently replacing corrugated-iron, and having partly rendered red brick chimneystack. Rendered walls. Square-headed window openings with replacement uPVC windows and concrete sills. Square-headed replacement uPVC door to rear extension.
