  In tillage, atop ridge. Depicted as hachured oblong arc (C c. 130m) formed by scarp S->NE on 1937 OS 6-inch map. Oblong arc, of barely perceptible scarp, evident S->NE.   Not marked on 1842 and 1905 OS 6-inch maps. Marked on 1937 OS 6-inch map just to W of site of Shanbally fort (13720) and to E of levelled earthwork (13826). In tillage, on top of ridge.   Description

  In tillage, atop ridge. Depicted as hachured roughly triangular enclosure (max. L 130m N-S; max. Wth at S end: 80m E-W) on 1842 OS 6-inch map; marked 'site of' on 1905 and 1937 OS 6-inch maps. Triangular area defined on W and E sides by shallow fosse; no visible surface trace of enclosing element on S side. Large natural-looking circular depression at centre of interior; depression overgrown, with tree trunks dumped against its perimeter.   In tillage, on gentle SSE-facing slope. Depicted as hachured D-shaped enclosure (dims. c. 30m N-S) on 1842 OS 6-inch map, W side linear. Levelled; mature crop in field; no visible surface trace of site noted. Bivallate circular enclosure visible as cropmark of fosses in aerial photograph (CASAP); external fosse slightly linear on W side; possible entrance to N.   In tillage, on gentle S-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map; arc survives in field boundary system to NW on 1905 and 1937 OS 6-inch maps. Levelled; no visible surface trace of site due to mature crop in field. Trivallate circular enclosure with entrance to SSW visible in aerial photograph (CASAP) as cropmark of fosses; internal feature off-centre to E visible as roughly circular area of differential growth; ring ditch (CO024-221---) and field systems (CO024-235---) also visible as crop marks in surrounding field.   Description

  In pasture, on gentle S-facing slope. Circular area (diam. c. 45m) enclosed by two earthen banks (inner bank: int. H 0.6m; outer bank: H 0.4m) with intervening fosse. Site heavily overgrown. According to Bowman (1934, 422), interior saucer-shaped. Ring ditch (CO024-221---) c. 40m to S and ringfort (CO024-013---) c. 100m to S.
