  Description

  On N side of road. Front (S) of 3 bays, central door. Roof gable-ended to W with chimney on gable, hipped to E; thatched with reeds. Vacated subsequent to site inspection.   Description

  In quarry. Remains of random-rubble front wall (S) retains earthen core, earthen fill slipped around front of kiln. Arched recess (H c. 1.3m; Wth 2.35m; D c. 2.5m), with overlapping stones to rear, filled with collapsed material from core. Rear overgrown, circular depression on top indicates position of funnel.   Description

  In level pasture. Circular platform (26.5m E-W) raised c. 0.45m above surrounding field level, defined by V-shaped fosse (D 1.05m) and external earthen bank (int. H 1m; ext. H 1m). Bank substantial, higher than internal platform and heavily overgrown; break to SSE. Enclosure heavily overgrown on N side where bank extends into field boundary system.   Description

  Detached three-bay single-storey direct-entry thatched house, built c. 1800, having recent extension to rear. Thatched roof, pitched to west and hipped to east, with rendered chimneystack and having render coping to west gable. Painted roughcast rendered walls, recent buttress wall added to east gable. Square-headed window openings with render reveals and sills with recent one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows. Square-headed entrance doorway having timber panelled door. Square-profile painted rendered piers to east with single-leaf cast-iron gate.
