  Description

  In pasture, on N-facing slope. Circular area (53.4m N-S; 50.9m E-W) enclosed by pair of earthen banks with wide intervening fosse and shallow outer fosse. Inner bank (int. H 2m; ext. H 4.2m) 13.14m from outer bank (int. H 2.9m; ext. H 1.4m). Interior level and crossed by cultivation ridges running E-W. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994).
