Description
In pasture, on steep N-facing slope. Circular area (17m N-S; 16m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank SE->SW (H 2.5m); scarp SW->SE. Stream skirts bank to S. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992). Description
Cast-iron post box set into house gable, erected c.1930. Segmental-headed box with rectangular letter opening, rectangular display panel, keyhole and P&T monogram.
