  Description

  In rough pasture, 300m E of River Laney. Circular area (diam. 32m) defined by earthen bank (H 1.1m). Possible souterrain (CO060-003002-) in interior.   Description

  In centre of ringfort (CO060-003001-). Hartnett (1939, 47), was informed locally of a single stone-lined chamber roofed with lintels which had been infilled. No visible surface trace.   Description

  In pasture, on break in N-facing slope. Roughly circular area (34m E-W; 30m N-S) enclosed by scarp (H 1.4m) NE->SW; straight stone field boundary to SSE; low grass-covered stone bank (int. H 0.6m) S->NNW, topped by later stone field boundary; slight fall of ground NNW->NE. Gap (Wth 2.8m) to SE into interior. Interior raised on NE side to compensate for hillslope. Adjoining site NNW->NE is semicircular extension (17m N-S; 19m E-W) defined by scarp formed by rock outcrop and some stone facing. According to Hartnett (1939,47) 'known locally as lios or lisheen'.   Description

  In marshy ground, S of River Laney. Hartnett (1939, 47) mentioned the 'remains of... a Lisheen (8663) with a subterranean passage'. The passage had been infilled with stones but from local descriptions was of 'stone-lined, flag-roofed type'. No visible surface trace.   In pasture, in small field known as 'poundeen'. According to local information, underground passage found just inside SW fence of field; fence subsequently removed. No visible surface trace.   Description

  In rough grazing land, broken by rock outcrop. Mr. John Goggin informed Hartnett (1939, 47) 'that in his land on the south bank of the Laney stream there was the remains of what he called a Lisheen, with a subterranean passage' (8981).
