Description
In pasture, on NNE-facing slope. Roughly circular area (30m E-W; 26m N-S) defined by earthen bank (H 1.5m) NNE->NW; scarp elsewhere. Bank planted with deciduous trees. Entrance (Wth 3m) to E. Interior slopes down gently to N; raised on N side to compensate for hillslope; remains of circular hut site (diam. 10m) in N half; souterrain (CO069-057----) in NW quadrant. Description
In NW quadrant of ringfort (CO069-001----). Opening reveals earth-cut chamber, roofed with lintels, extending westwards; not explored. Description
In rough pasture, on the W side of a farm road, on a N-facing slope. This standing stone (0.27m x 0.16m; H 0.86m) is roughly rectangular in plan and section and is orientated E-W. The standing stone is frequently used as a stop for a farm gate and a small depression on its S face may be related to this function.
