  Irregular mound of burnt material (L 8m; Wth 7m; H 0.6m) in boggy field; possible trough to E. Recently cut drainage channel immediately to E. Water source was spring upslope to S. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).   Description

  Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1870, with later extension to rear (south). Recent porch to front and lean-to extensions to rear. Pitched slate roofs with rendered chimneystacks and cast-iron and uPVC rainwater goods. Painted rendered walls with platband. Square-headed openings with two-over-two timber sliding sash windows and concrete sills. Square-headed door opening with timber glazed door. Rendered boundary walls with piers and iron railings.
