Description
Mid-late 17th century 3-storey double-gable-ended house. Entrance front (N) of 5 bays; central door with rectangular fanlight; sash windows with shallow reveals. Date stone on northerly W gable inscribed 'H S E1699'. According to local information rear of house mid-17th century in date, with front half added to accommodate a larger family. Additions to rear. Farmbuldings to NW. Mature parkland. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994). Description
Below crest of hill, on S-facing slope. Arc (C 22m) formed of earthen bank (H 0.75m) NNW->NE, with external fosse (D 0.45m) N->NE; incorporated into field fence system; stone faced externally. Description
Detached four-bay single-storey house, built c.1900, having lean-to extensions to rear (east) and lean-to corrugated-iron outbuilding to side (south). Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystack and uPVC rainwater goods. Roughcast rendered walls with plinth. Square-headed window openings with render sills, painted brick block-and-start surrounds and four-over-four pane timber sliding sash windows. Square-headed door opening with render surround and timber battened door. Rendered boundary wall with gate piers and wrought-iron gate to front. Set along roadside.

Description
Detached double-pile five-bay three-storey house, dated 1699. Pitched slate roof with rendered gable chimneystacks and replacement uPVC rainwater goods. Roughcast rendered walls having carved limestone date plaque to side (north) elevation. Diminishing square-headed window openings with stone sills to front (east) elevation, having six-over-six pane timber sliding sash windows to ground and first floors, six-over-three pane timber sliding sash windows to second floor. Square-headed door opening with overlight to front elevation, having stone stepped approach and render canopy over timber panelled door and overlight with timber tracery. Various outbuildings to side (west). Set within own extensive grounds.
