Description
In pasture, on gentle N-facing slope, commanding view over Bride river valley. Heavily overgrown, circular area (16m N-S) defined by earth andstone bank (int. H 0.7m; ext. H 0.2m), stone faced in parts. Interior slopes down to N. Site lies between two fulachta fiadh; one (CO046-028---) to NW in adjoining field and second (CO046-026---) to SSW in adjoining townland. In pasture, beside well. Grass-covered horseshoe-shaped mound of burnt material (L 22m; Wth 14m; H 1.2m). Opening faces NE towards stream from well. Circular enclosure (CO046-027---) to SE.
