Description
On N side of field fence just S of childrens' burial ground (CO142-015---). Small, square stone (0.58m x 0.55m; H 0.4m). Large deep circular hollow (diam. 0.35m) is centrally located. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992). Description
Marked 'Burial Ground' on OS 6-inch map (1842). In pasture. Subrectangular area (L 20m; Wth c. 12m) defined by scarp (H 0.8m) to E and wall to W. Low gravemarkers noted.
