  Description

  In pasture, on S-facing slope. Roughly circular area (45m N-S; 40m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.2m; ext. H 1.7m). Bank lowest to N and NW, with field clearance stones dumped on surface. Three large stones replace top of bank to E. Break (Wth 3.4m) in bank to SW; sides appear to be freshly cut, may be modern or widened entrance; cattle gap (Wth 1.5m) to NE. Grass-covered interior slopes down to SSE. Souterrain (CO042-06202-) in SE quadrant. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. • CO042-062002 Souterrain
  Description

  In SE quadrant of ringfort (CO042-06201-). Coleman (1947, 72) noted 'in the east side of the enclosure are two large sandstone slabs, each about 5 ft by 4 ft. One rests against the rampart, the other on the ground. The only local information available was that souterrains in the forts were filled in years ago'. Large sandstone slab (L 1.45m; Wth 1.4m), probably one of the two mentioned by Coleman, probably indicates position of souterrain.   Description

  Not marked on 1842 and 1904 OS 6-inch maps. In pasture, on WSW-facing slope. Stone (H 1.65m; 0.68m x 0.38m) is rectangular in plan, long axis NE-SW.   Description

  In marshy area, on W-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 18m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map, bisected on E-W axis by field boundary. Levelled; field boundary survives with drain running along its length; barely perceptible semicircular rise visible in marshy area on S side of field boundary.
