Description
In pasture, on W-facing slope, overlooking River Blackwater. Circular area (42m E-W; 40m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.1m; ext. H 1m); shallow external fosse. Entrance (Wth 3.8m) to SE. Low, oval mound in interior (16m N-S; 12m E-W; H 0.4m). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
