  Description

  In pasture, on N-facing slope. Depicted on 1842 OS 6-inch map as circular enclosure bisected on N-S axis by roadway; bank (int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.2m) survives on W side of roadway as depicted on 1934 OS 6-inch map (c. 40m N-S); shallow external fosse to N; drain outside bank to S and W. Interior raised to N to compensate for slope. No visible surface trace of bank on E side of roadway. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.   Description

  In undulating pasture. Circular area (31m E-W; 30m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.25m) N->WNW. Stone field fence truncates NW edge of enclosure. Bank stone faced and incorporated into field fence system to E. Interior and bank planted with coniferous trees.   Description

  In pasture, in low-lying ground c. 25m to the E of a stream. A spread (19m N-S; 15m E-W) of heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil was noted here in 1994 (Ó Loingsigh 1994). This spread was not located in 2002 as the field was under high grass. A second possible burnt mound (CO089-069002-) was noted 25m to the S and there is a rath (CO089-023----) c. 150m to the S.
