  Description

  In pasture on break in N-facing slope. Roughly circular, slightly raised area (57m N-S; 52m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.7m), with external fosse (D 0.8m); outer earthen bank survives ESE->W (H 1.2m),stone-faced in parts. Gap in inner bank to NNE, ESE and W. Cultivation ridges cross interior on E-W axis; souterrain (CO110-05602-) in NE quadrant. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.   Description

  Horseshoe-shaped mound (L 16m; Wth 13m; H 0.85m), partially overgrown: located in scrubland (currently being reclaimed) at bottom of slope. Opening to SE (Wth 6m).
