The proposed development in Co. Cork comprises of the renewal and alteration of a total of 61 existing mast structures, including foundation upgrade works and restringing of the existing overhead line with new conductor. The proposed development also includes all associated and ancillary works including, comprising or relating to permanent and temporary construction and excavation, involving constructio of temporary guard poles, the construction and reinstatement of temporary access tracks, improvement and reinstatement of new temporary entrances, widening of existing entrances, temporary silt fencing, temporary silt traps, temporary culverts, temporary clear span bridging, and the clearance of vegatation at various locations along the route to facilitate the proposed principle development. The proposed development will be faciltitated by the storage of construction materials and associated and ancillary activities, at existing hard-standing yards. These 6 yards (2 in Co. Cork and 4 in Co. Kerry) are located in the vicinity of the overhead line, in the townlands of Lislehane and Liscahane. Description
In pasture, on break in S-facing slope. Circular area (34m N-S; 34m E-W) raised 2.8m above level of surrounding land, enclosed by fosse with external bank. Top of platform defined by low rise (max. int. H 0.5m) N->SE. Fosse dry and flat-bottomed (Wth 3m). Outer bank (H 1.3m) 3.5m wide on top; faced externally with stone wall, battered in parts. Possible entrance to SSE where platform has more gradual profile and outer bank replaced by external, stone-faced scarp. Interior planted with coniferous trees; fosse and bank lightly planted. Locally known as "Lissard". The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). Description
Abandoned rectangular house, 2-storey over basement. Entrance front (E) of 6 bays with 2-bay central pedimented breakfront; lower part of break front is open supported by four Ionic columns forming a portico with vertical half door flanked by side lights; pediment contains carved armorial plaque. Side elevations 2 bays deep. Brick string course on front (except break front) and side elevations between ground and 1st floor. Rear elevation of 5 bays with central tall pointed window; gabled addition on S side of rear. Inscription on rear wall reads 'Leader May 1842'. Ranges of abandoned 2-storey farm buildings to rear, one with diamond-shaped 1st-floor windows; bellcote on another; circular stone-built corn stands to rear similar to those at Coolmore (6018) near Carrigaline. Description
Detached six-bay two-storey over half-basement country house, built 1833, having two-bay pedimented breakfront with Doric-style tetrastyle portico to front, and two-bay side elevations. Hipped skirt slate roof with rendered chimneystacks and overhanging eaves. Rendered walls with string course between floors. Square-headed windows with moulded sills and remains of six-over-six pane timber sliding sash windows. Round-headed entrance doorway with timber panelled door. House approached by avenues from north and south, latter forking and one route leading to double courtyard of two-storey outbuildings with stone walls and having elliptical-arched vehicular entrances. Diamond-shaped windows and round-headed winodws to some openings. Walled garden and ornamental lake to demesne.

Description
Detached three-bay single-storey former gate lodge with hexagonal-plan projection to front, built c. 1830, now in use as private house. Hipped slate roofs with rendered chimneystacks. Painted rendered walls. Triangular-headed window openings with limestone sills and traceried windows. Front projection having sixteen-pane windows, fixed window to front and eight-over-eight pane timber sliding sash to side walls. Main block has four-over-pane timber sliding sash windows and replacement timber windows, some square-headed and some with render sills. Square-headed door opening with replacement timber door. Painted rendered square-profile piers to front painted rendered boundary walls, with cast-iron gate. Gate lodge set to inside of quadrant entrance gateway to Mount leader, having ashlar limestone masonry walls with remains of render copings and limestone plinth, terminating in a pair of square-profile piers with carved limestone caps and plinths.
