  In pasture, on ENE-facing slope. Circular raised area (diam. 40m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (H 2.1m), with shallow external fosse to S (D 0.4m). Gap (Wth 3m) in bank to NNW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
