  At E end of Inishannon village; road bridge (Wth 15.2m) over tributary to Bandon river. Two low segmental arches with roughly cut voussoirs; pointed breakwater.   Description

  In pasture, on S-facing slope. Circular area (30.5m N-S; 30.15m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.8m) with external fosse (D 0.2m). Breaks in bank to E (Wth 2m) and SW (Wth 2.6m). Fosse filled with farm waste and field clearance material. Farm building beside fort to W. Field clearance material dumped in interior; ESB pole in centre.   Cast-iron road sign, erected c.1940, comprising rectangular sign having rounded corners with raised text and harp motif. Mounted on circular-profile pole, located at road junction.

  Description

  Detached five-bay two-storey house, built c.1810, with Doric entrance portico. Hipped slate roof with rendered chimneystacks and wide eaves. Roughcast rendered walls. Square-headed openings with limestone sills and one-over-one timber sliding sash windows, having recent exterior shutter additions. Round-headed door opening having Doric doorcase and timber panelled door with fanlight above. Rubble stone gate piers and boundary walls having pair of wrought-iron gates. Ranges of single- and two-storey rubble stone outbuildings to north.
