  In pasture, to E of stream and on N-facing slope. Subcircular mound of burnt material (18m E-W; H 0.75m); slippage of burnt material down slope noted. Spread of dark coloured soil (9421) noted c. 350m to NW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.   In pasture, to W of stream. According to local information, burnt material found during drainage works. No visible surface trace. Spread of dark coloured soil (9421) noted c. 200m to N.   Description

  In pasture, on a N-facing slope with views N over the town of Ballincollig. Traces of a spread of heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil were noted on the ground at this location. There is a stream c. 20m to the W and a fulacht fia (CO085-125----) c. 25m to the SE. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.   In pasture, on W side of stream. Grass-covered spread of dark soil containing small stones (8m N-S; 1.5m E-W). Material not consistent with that of fulacht fiadh.
