Description
In commanding position above Wright's Glen. Circular, heavily overgrown area (34m N-S; 33m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.3m), with silted-up external fosse. Gap in bank (Wth 3m) to NE. Ó Ríordáin (1932, 100) noted 'an earthen mound' in the interior; no longer evident. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Description
In pasture, on gentle W-facing slope. Circular area (24.8m N-S; 25m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.7m); shallow external fosse. Bank planted with conifers; gap to NE (Wth 3m).
