Description
In pasture, on SE-facing slope. Circular area (40.5m NE-SW; 39.7m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.35m), with external fosse (D 1.3m). Entrance (Wth 2m) to N, with causeway. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
