  Description

  Only a curving field fence and local tradition indicates the situation of 'Ganges' Fort'. It was situated on the edge of a sharp drop to the W and S in good land with wide views. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.'
