Description
Marked 'Lisdrum' on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map, it would appear that the site has been totally destroyed by the erection of farm buildings. It was very close to and probably similar in type to Lisbrack (DG078-034). It was situated high up in rough pasture overlooking the Finn Valley. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.' Compiled by: Brian Lacey with Eamon Cody, Claire Cotter, Judy Cuppage, Noel Dunne, Vincent Hurley, Celie O'Rahilly, Paul Walsh and Seán Ó Nualláin (Lifford: Donegal County Council, 1983). Description
Internal diam. 14m. 'Lisbrack' consists of a subcircular area enclosed by a collapsed stone wall of small boulders, some of which remain in situ up to a height of 2m. Part of the W side is gone. The interior is fairly level. It is situated on a slight terrace on rough pasture land high up overlooking the Finn Valley. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.'
