Description
Marked as 'Standing Stone' on the 1st and 2nd editions of the OS 6-inch map and as 'Standing Stone (site of)' on the 3rd edition. There are no visible remains. Situated on the NW slope of a hill, with good views. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.' Description
A 'cave' roofed with large flags was discovered here a long time ago. The flags were removed. There is no surface indication of a souterrain now. It was situated on top of a ridge of good land known as White Hill. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal.
