Description
There is no trace of the 'Standing Stone' marked on the 2nd and 3rd editions of the OS 6-inch map. The area is now heavily forested but was formerly poor land. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.' Description
Double-arch bridge, built c.1860, carrying road over Lennan River, comprising segmental arches with dressed stone voussoirs triangular rendered cut-water, coursed rubble piers and abutments, coursed rubble walls with string course and coursed rubble stone parapets with flat rendered copings.
