Description
A D-shaped area, 8m in diameter, and enclosed by an earthen bank up to .75m high, is known as a children's burial ground. The interior is strewn with stones. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.' Description
Internal diam. c. 25m-30m. A subcircular space enclosed by an earthen bank (incorporating some rock outcrop), a fosse and possibly an external bank. There is a probable entrance on the E side and irregular rises internally might indicate structures. The site has been interfered with by field walls and a trackway. Description
Detached five-bay single-storey direct entry house, c.1875, on a rectangular plan originally three-bay single-storey centred on single-bay single-storey gabled windbreak. Reroofed, 1982. Extended, 1999-2000, producing present composition. Replacement pitched artificial slate roof with ridge tiles, cement rendered chimney stacks having concrete capping, and rainwater goods on timber eaves boards with downpipes. Raised rendered battered walls; part rendered repointed rubble stone wall (north) with limewashed bed outshot or buttress. Square-headed central door opening with concealed dressings including lintel framing timber boarded door. Square-headed window openings with concealed dressings framing replacement uPVC casement windows. Square-headed central window opening to rear (north) elevation with remains of rendered sill, and concealed dressings including lintel framing two-over-two timber sash window. Set in own grounds.

Detached four-bay single-storey vernacular house, built c. 1860, having windbreak porch to front (east), kitchen return to rear (west), and with two-bay outbuilding attached to the north gable. Round pitched thatched roof with latticed restraining ropes and steel rods, limewashed rendered chimneystacks to centre and gables. Limewashed rendered walls. Enlarged square-headed window openings with painted sills, and with replacement timber casement windows. Square-headed door opening to windbreak porch having replacement glazed timber door. Set within own grounds bound by rubble stone walls to road. Attached two-bay single-storey outbuilding attached to the north gable end having mono-pitched corrugated-metal roof, rendered walls, and square-headed openings.

Pitched flax thatched roof with latticed restraining ropes, timber stays and pegs, chimneystacks to south gable and centre. Limewashed render to rubble stone walls. Square-headed window openings over painted concrete sills, replacement timber windows. Square-headed door opening, replacement timber door. Set in own grounds with three-bay outbuilding to south-west, pitched corrugated-metal roof, limewashed rubble stone walls.
