  Description

  A natural mound of rock was used in part as 'Killavee Burial Ground'. Davies in 1940 recorded 'a few head stones in a small enclosure'. The site is now heavily overgrown. The site is located in fair pasture on the edge of the sand hills behind Stocker Strand. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. A description of the field antiquities of the County from the Mesolithic Period to the 17th century.'
